تفاصيل الوظيفة
**About Us:**
Litco Industries is a specialist subcontractor in the fabrication, supply, and erection of steel structures and metalworks. We deliver projects across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure sectors in Saudi Arabia and the wider GCC, working under main contractors and directly with consultants on active construction sites. We are growing our project delivery team and looking for an experienced Project Engineer to be part of that growth.
**Job Role:**
We are looking for a Project Engineer with a strong background in steel structure fabrication, erection, and installation. This is a hands-on coordination role — you will be managing execution on the ground, handling inspection documentation, dealing directly with main contractors and consultants, and driving the project forward from mobilisation through to close-out.
**What You Will Be Doing:**
***Project Execution & Coordination***
* Manage and coordinate all steel structure fabrication, erection, and installation activities from mobilisation through to project close-out.
* Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, schedules, and technical documents prior to execution and ensure works proceed accordingly.
* Plan, monitor, and control project activities — manpower, materials, and equipment — to maintain progress against the baseline programme.
* Coordinate across all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle including main contractors, consultants, third-party inspectors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
* Attend project and client progress meetings, present site status clearly, and provide technical input where required.
***Quality, Inspection & Compliance***
* Prepare, submit, and follow up on all inspection documentation including: MIR, WIR, WMR or any required reports.
* Attend site inspections and coordinate timely approvals from main contractor and consultant representatives.
* Respond to inspection comments and NCRs, coordinate corrective actions with the site and QA/QC teams, and follow through to closure.
* Ensure all activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable codes, quality standards, and HSE regulations throughout the project.
***Main Contractor & Consultant Coordination***
* Serve as Litco's primary project-level point of contact with the main contractor's team and the consultant.
* Coordinate inspection schedules, attend joint inspections, and ensure all approvals are obtained in writing and tracked.
* Respond to technical queries, RFIs, and site observations from the main contractor and consultant professionally and within agreed timeframes.
* Manage site correspondence, instructions, and technical submittals through the correct channels and maintain a full log of all communications.
* Identify and flag any scope changes, delays, or issues with commercial implications to the Project Manager promptly.
***Subcontractor & Resource Management***
* Monitor subcontractor performance, quality, and progress against the agreed programme and escalate issues where required.
* Track material deliveries, manpower deployment, and equipment utilisation against the project schedule.
* Ensure subcontractors are working to the correct drawings and specifications at all times.
***Reporting & Risk Management***
* Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports covering physical progress, manpower, issues, and upcoming activities.
* Identify project risks, delays, and technical issues early and implement corrective and preventive actions with the support of the Project Manager.
* Maintain complete project documentation throughout — drawing register, submittal log, RFI log, NCR register, inspection log — and compile close-out records at handover.
***Health, Safety & Environment***
* Ensure all site activities are carried out in compliance with the approved HSE plan and project safety requirements.
* Conduct toolbox talks and participate in site safety inspections regularly.
* Ensure all lifting operations are carried out with approved lift plans, qualified riggers, and proper supervision.
**What We Are Looking For:**
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum **5 years** of overall experience as a Project Engineer, with at least **4 years** of relevant experience in Saudi Arabia.
* Must have **subcontractor-side experience** — understands how to deliver under a main contractor and manage the relationship professionally.
* Proven track record in **steel structure fabrication, erection, and installation** projects.
* Hands-on experience preparing, submitting, and managing **MIR, WIR, and WMR** processes end-to-end.
* Demonstrated experience **coordinating directly with main contractors and consultants** on inspections, approvals, and technical matters.
* Working familiarity with Saudi construction standards, QA/QC procedures, and inspection protocols.
* Strong communication skills in English — written and ve
