Geneva Call is Hiring – Safety & Security Officer📍 Location: #Baghdad, Iraq 💼 Type: Part-time (75%) | 12-month contract 👤 Vacancy: 1 🎓 Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field 💼 Experience: At least 6 years with an INGO in a similar role 🌐 Languages: Arabic & English required; Kurdish is an advantage 📅 Deadline: August 27, 2026 🇮🇶 Eligibility: Iraqi citizens or candidates with a valid Iraqi work permitKey Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain the country safety and security framework.Conduct security risk assessments for offices, guesthouses, and operational sites.Develop and update security management, evacuation, and emergency plans.Lead emergency preparedness and incident management.Monitor the security environment and provide timely advice to management.Ensure CCTV, alarms, radios, locks, gates, and other security systems are operational.Deliver security orientations, training, and awareness sessions to staff.Coordinate with authorities, humanitarian organizations, local communities, and other stakeholders.Support safe travel, events, transport, and field operations.Prepare security plans, reports, and contingency measures.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree or higher in Management, Political/Social Science, International Humanitarian Law, Human Rights, or a related field.At least 6 years of INGO experience in a similar security role.Strong knowledge of security risk management, risk assessments, contingency planning, and incident management.Experience developing security policies, procedures, and SOPs is an advantage.Strong analytical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.Experience in security training and staff capacity building.Ability to work effectively in complex and conflict-affected environments.Security management training such as CSMP or CPP is an advantage.Full professional proficiency in Arabic and English.Kurdish is an advantage.📩 How to Apply: Submit your CV and cover letter through the application link provided by Geneva Call.https://lnkd.in/d3Va4sWE
