Job Summary:
We are seeking a Private Sector Sales Supervisor to lead and manage the daily activities of the private-sector sales team, with a strong focus on merchant acquisition, activation, and QR payment adoption. The role will be responsible for driving sales performance, ensuring effective market coverage, and achieving assigned business targets and KPIs.
The position will involve planning and monitoring daily and weekly field activities, conducting market visits, coaching team members, identifying new commercial opportunities, and addressing performance gaps. The role will also provide regular performance reports and market insights to support business growth and improve sales effectiveness.
Statement of Duties:
Supervise and manage the daily activities of the private-sector sales team to ensure effective execution of sales plans and targets.
Lead and support the team in merchant acquisition, onboarding, activation, and QR payment adoption.
Set, monitor, and follow up on individual and team sales targets and KPIs.
Plan and coordinate daily and weekly field activities, ensuring proper market coverage and efficient allocation of sales resources.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor team activities, assess sales performance, and ensure effective engagement with merchants.
Coach and guide team members to improve sales skills, customer engagement, and overall performance.
Identify performance gaps and implement appropriate corrective actions and follow-up plans.
Identify potential commercial areas, target markets, and new business opportunities to expand the merchant network.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential merchants to support acquisition and retention.
Monitor merchant acquisition and activation pipelines and follow up on pending or inactive merchants.
Track market activities, competitor presence, merchant feedback, and emerging business opportunities.
Prepare and provide regular sales performance reports, KPI updates, and market feedback to management.
Coordinate with internal departments to resolve merchant-related issues and ensure smooth onboarding and activation.
Ensure that sales activities and merchant onboarding are conducted in accordance with company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Analyze sales and field performance data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Continuously recommend and implement initiatives to improve sales productivity, market coverage, merchant activation, and QR payment adoption.
Skills and educational background:
1- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
2- 2–3 years of experience in sales, field sales, merchant acquisition, fintech, banking, telecom, or a related sector.
3- Previous experience in supervising or leading a sales team is preferred.
4- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
