Senior Accountant

Job description: **Senior Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager** We are looking for an experienced **Senior Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager** to manage the company's accounting and financial operations within a marble and trading business. The role requires strong experience in **inventory accounting, ERP implementation, VAT compliance, and financial reporting**. The successful candidate will play a key role in the company’s **ERP system upgrade and inventory management improvement**, ensuring accurate stock records, costing, and financial controls. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead and support **ERP implementation, system upgrade, data migration, and process improvement**. * Manage **inventory accounting, stock valuation, costing, reconciliation, and inventory controls** for a complex product range. * Ensure accurate inventory records and coordinate with warehouse and operations teams. * Manage full accounting cycle including AP, AR, GL, payroll, and bank reconciliations. * Prepare monthly financial reports, financial analysis, and management reports. * Handle UAE VAT compliance and coordinate with auditors. * Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial performance. **Candidate Requirements** * Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * Minimum **5–8 years of accounting experience**; experience in trading or inventory-based companies preferred. * Strong knowledge of **UAE VAT and accounting principles**. * Proven experience handling **complex inventory and stock control**. * Experience in **ERP implementation, migration, or system improvement** is highly preferred. * Strong knowledge of accounting software such as SAP, Tally, QuickBooks, Odoo, or similar ERP systems. * Advanced Excel and reporting skills. * Experience in marble, granite, building materials, or similar trading industry is an advantage.
