Senior Mechanical Engineer

Senior Mechanical Engineer – MEP (8–12 Years Experience) We are seeking an experienced and results-driven **Senior Mechanical Engineer – MEP** with **8–12 years of experience** in the design, coordination, and execution of mechanical systems for commercial, residential, hospitality, healthcare, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and other mechanical building services, with the ability to lead engineering teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities * Lead the design, review, and coordination of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting. * Prepare and review engineering calculations, technical reports, specifications, and construction drawings. * Ensure compliance with project specifications, local authority regulations, and international standards. * Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, and BIM teams to deliver integrated project solutions. * Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions. * Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and drafting teams. * Attend client, consultant, and site coordination meetings to resolve technical issues. * Monitor project progress and provide engineering support during construction and commissioning. * Conduct site inspections to ensure work quality and compliance with approved designs. * Support project planning, cost optimization, value engineering, and risk management initiatives. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. * **8–12 years of experience** in MEP consultancy or contracting, with significant experience in mechanical building services. * Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and mechanical system design. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office. * Experience with Autodesk Revit MEP and BIM workflows is preferred. * Familiarity with local authority requirements and applicable international standards. * Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills * Experience in large-scale commercial, residential, mixed-use, or industrial projects. * Knowledge of HAP, Carrier E20, or other HVAC design software is an advantage. * Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Navisworks, or BIM coordination processes. * UAE/GCC project experience is preferred. * Professional certifications or memberships are an added advantage.
