Site Engineer - With Minimum of 2 Years experience

Department : Projects Reports To : Project Manager / Head of Projects **Job Summary** The Site Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day execution, supervision, and coordination of construction and fit-out activities at assigned project sites. The role ensures that all works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. Key ResponsibilitiesProject Execution * Supervise all site activities and ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and project specifications. * Plan and coordinate daily work schedules for subcontractors, suppliers, and in-house teams. * Ensure project milestones are achieved within the approved timeline. * Monitor site productivity and take corrective actions to avoid delays. * Coordinate with the Project Manager on project progress and resource requirements. Site Coordination * Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments. * Attend site meetings and represent the company professionally. * Resolve technical issues and provide practical solutions during execution. * Ensure all required approvals and inspections are obtained before proceeding with work. Quality Control * Ensure all works comply with project specifications, company SOPs, and quality standards. * Conduct regular inspections and identify defects or non-conformities. * Coordinate rectification works and ensure quality is maintained throughout the project. * Verify materials delivered to site meet approved specifications. Health, Safety & Compliance * Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and local regulations. * Conduct daily toolbox talks where required. * Report unsafe conditions and ensure immediate corrective actions. * Maintain a safe and organized work environment. Planning & Documentation * Maintain daily site reports with manpower, work completed, material status, and progress updates. * Prepare progress reports, inspection requests, and material requests. * Keep records of site instructions, variations, and client communications. * Assist in quantity verification and project measurements. Material & Resource Management * Monitor material consumption and minimize wastage. * Coordinate timely delivery of materials and equipment. * Ensure proper storage and handling of materials. * Verify delivery quantities against purchase orders. Client & Team Management * Build and maintain good relationships with clients and consultants. * Lead and supervise site supervisors, foremen, technicians, and labor teams. * Provide technical guidance and support to the site team. * Ensure effective communication between the office and project site. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline. * UAE driving license is preferred. * Minimum 2–5 years of UAE experience in construction, interior fit-out, MEP, or joinery projects. Required Skills * Strong knowledge of construction methods and fit-out execution. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. * Excellent planning and organizational skills. * Good problem-solving and decision-making ability. * Strong communication and leadership skills. * Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and project management software. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
