Sr. Accountant (Real Estate & Hospitality)

**Job Role – Senior Accountant** **Industry - Real Estate / Hospitality** **Location - Abu Dhabi** **Key Responsibilities** * Manage the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. * Perform month-end and year-end closing activities accurately and within deadlines. * Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial forecasts to support business operations. * Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations, accounting standards, and internal financial controls. * Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate discrepancies. * Maintain fixed asset registers and oversee depreciation schedules. * Coordinate with auditors and support internal and external audit requirements. * Prepare financial analysis and reports for management decision-making. * Process journal entries, accruals, provisions, and intercompany reconciliations. * Ensure accurate maintenance of accounting records within the ERP system. * Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency. **Candidate Requirements** * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum **7 years of UAE accounting experience**, with significant exposure to **Real Estate and Hospitality** industries. * Strong working knowledge of **Microsoft Dynamics ERP** is mandatory. * Advanced proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** and the Microsoft Office Suite. * Hands-on experience with accounting and financial software. * Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, VAT compliance, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing. * Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet strict deadlines. **Preferred Candidate Profile** * Experience in managing finance functions for Real Estate and Hospitality businesses in the UAE. * Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be preferred.
