Commitment to quality, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are crucial to succeed in this role and support the successful completion of projects from concept through construction. **Responsibilities** * Develop detailed structural designs and drawings using CAD software for various building types and infrastructure projects.Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure designs meet functional, safety, and regulatory requirements.Perform structural analysis and calculations to verify the integrity and stability of proposed designs under anticipated loads. * Prepare technical documentation, specifications, and reports to support design proposals and project submissions. * Review and interpret project blueprints, sketches, and specifications provided by clients and stakeholders. * Assist in the selection of appropriate construction materials based on project requirements and cost considerations.Participate in site visits and inspections to assess design compliance and suggest modifications as needed. * RequirementsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.Proven experience as a structural designer or similar role within the construction or engineering industry.Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or Tekla Structures.Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles, including load calculations and material properties.Familiarity with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., AISC, ACI, Eurocodes).Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and safety in designs.Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams. * Supervise on-site structural works to ensure construction activities are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. * Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and subcontractors to monitor project progress, resolve technical issues, and ensure timely completion of work. * Manage and monitor different phases of construction projects, ensuring compliance with project timelines, budgets, and safety requirements. * Conduct regular site inspections, prepare progress reports, and recommend corrective actions when required. * Review shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements to ensure compliance with project specifications before execution. * Support project planning, scheduling, and resource coordination to ensure smooth project execution from design through completion.
