Job Title: Technology Infrastructure Director Job Type: Full-time About the Role Meganar Tech is seeking an experienced and visionary Technology Infrastructure Director to lead our enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud architecture, networks, data centers, and cybersecurity operations in Kuwait. In this executive role, you will be responsible for defining and executing our global technology roadmap, ensuring high system availability, scalable network design, and robust data protection frameworks. You will lead cross-functional engineering teams and partner with executive stakeholders to align infrastructure investments with long-term business goals. Key Responsibilities Strategic IT Leadership: Formulate and execute the corporate IT infrastructure roadmap, aligning hybrid cloud, network, storage, and computing systems with business expansion targets. Architecture & Cloud Operations: Oversee the migration, management, and continuous optimization of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or private enterprise clouds) and physical data center operations. Cybersecurity & Governance: Partner with Information Security leads to enforce zero-trust security architecture, disaster recovery (DR) protocols, business continuity plans (BCP), and compliance with local/international data protection laws. Network & Systems Engineering: Guarantee 99.99% system availability, low-latency connectivity, and robust data infrastructure across corporate office networks and remote environments. Vendor & Budget Management: Manage multi-million-dollar technology budgets, negotiate agreements with global hardware/software vendors and telecom providers, and optimize infrastructure spend. Team Mentorship: Direct, mentor, and grow a team of cloud architects, system administrators, network engineers, and IT support leads. Qualifications & Requirements Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure and systems engineering, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership or director-level role. Technical Mastery: Deep hands-on and architectural knowledge of cloud ecosystems (AWS/Azure/GCP), enterprise networking (Cisco, Palo Alto), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), enterprise storage, and DevOps tools. Certifications: Professional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, CISSP, or ITIL Master are strongly preferred. Skills: Excellent strategic planning, vendor management, crisis management, budget oversight, and executive stakeholder management.
