Urgently Hiring Accountant - KSA

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated **Accountant** to join our growing Finance team. The ideal candidate should have **2–3 years of accounting experience**, preferably within the **Food & Beverage (F&B)** or hospitality industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and assisting with monthly financial reporting while ensuring compliance with company policies and Bahrain regulations. **Key Responsibilities:** **General Accounting** * Record daily financial transactions accurately in the accounting system. * Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger. * Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities. * Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation. **Accounts Payable & Receivable** * Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments. * Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies. * Monitor customer receivables and follow up on outstanding balances. * Prepare payment schedules and supporting documents. **Bank & Cash Reconciliation** * Perform monthly bank reconciliations. * Reconcile cash, petty cash, and credit card transactions. * Investigate and resolve unreconciled items promptly. **Payroll Support** * Assist in preparing monthly payroll data. * Verify attendance, overtime, and payroll-related records. * Maintain payroll documentation and employee records. **Financial Reporting** * Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and management reports. * Support budget preparation and expense analysis. * Monitor operational expenses and identify discrepancies. **VAT & Compliance** * Assist in preparing VAT returns and supporting schedules. * Ensure compliance with Bahrain VAT regulations. * Maintain organized financial records for internal and external audits. **Inventory & Cost Control** * Reconcile inventory reports with accounting records. * Assist in monitoring food cost and inventory variances. * Support periodic stock counts and inventory reconciliation. **Internal Controls** * Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures. * Maintain accurate filing of accounting documents. * Support internal and external auditors during audit processes. **Requirements** * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * **2–3 years of accounting experience.** * **Experience in the F&B, hospitality, or retail industry is preferred.** * Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. * Knowledge of Bahrain VAT regulations. * Experience with accounting software such as **Tally, Sage, Odoo, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems.** * Proficient in Microsoft Excel. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Good communication skills in English. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience handling inventory accounting within an F&B environment. * Knowledge of POS systems and daily sales reconciliation. * Experience supporting payroll processing. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
