Delete account

You can request account deletion whether or not the app is installed on your device.

Open ToBe → the "Me" tab → scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete account" (in red) → confirm twice in a row. Your account is deleted immediately and this cannot be undone.

Email us from your registered address at [email protected] with the subject "Delete account", mentioning your pseudonym if you remember it, and we will delete your account.

Your profile, your pseudonym, your press and streak history, your published and private words tied to your account, and reports linked to you. After that, your sign-in account itself is deleted (for Apple sign-in users, your Apple link is revoked too). Your underlying Google or Apple account is otherwise unaffected — we only delete what we stored about you.

After deletion we keep no copy of your data on our servers, except the 30-day reservation of your pseudonym described in our privacy policy.
