Who You Are: Seeking a full-time Airfield Lighting Technician Lead in Iraq, supporting Navigational Aids (NAVAIDS) Maintenance & Repair Support project. This position supports 24/7 aviation operations in a deployed environment and ensures safe, efficient, and compliant airfield operations while supporting mission-critical systems. What You’ll Do: Lead and perform inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and replacement of runway, taxiway, apron, threshold, approach lighting systems, airfield guidance signs, airfield beacons, REILs, and PAPI systems. Oversee and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Airfield Ground Lighting (AGL) systems in accordance with FAA, ICAO, UFC, and contract requirements. Lead diagnosis and repair of faults in Constant Current Regulators (CCR), isolation transformers, underground cable circuits, lighting vault equipment, and control systems. Lead routine airfield inspections to verify operational readiness and compliance of lighting and visual navigation aids. Perform electrical testing, insulation resistance (Megger) testing, continuity testing, and fault isolation using specialized diagnostic equipment. Install, modify, upgrade, and commission airfield lighting systems, LED fixtures, regulators, and associated infrastructure. Review and maintain maintenance records, inspection logs, work orders, and deficiency reports. Coordinate and prioritize maintenance activities with Airfield Management, Operations, and other stakeholders. Lead response to airfield lighting outages and emergency service calls to restore mission-critical systems. Support and coordinate airfield inspections, NOTAM actions, and operational readiness activities. Ensure team compliance with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), NFPA 70E, OSHA, and electrical safety requirements. What You’ll Bring: Required Qualifications Must have computer skills and be able to operate a variety of computer programs. Must be able to speak, read and write English fluently. Must maintain a valid driver's license from their home country with validity for 12 months from on-site employment date.
