Aquaculture Software Developer

Position Overview We are seeking a creative and technically skilled **Aquaculture Software Developer** to design, develop, and maintain software applications tailored for aquaculture management. This role requires expertise in software engineering, data integration, and industry-specific knowledge to support sustainable aquaculture practices. Key Responsibilities * Develop and maintain aquaculture management software, including monitoring and reporting systems. * Integrate IoT devices, sensors, and data analytics into aquaculture platforms. * Collaborate with aquaculture specialists to translate operational needs into technical solutions. * Implement features for water quality monitoring, feed management, and stock tracking. * Ensure system scalability, performance, and security. * Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in aquaculture applications. * Prepare documentation, user manuals, and training materials. * Stay updated on emerging technologies in aquaculture and software development. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. * 3–5 years of experience in software development, preferably in agriculture or aquaculture systems. * Strong knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, C#, or similar). * Experience with IoT integration, data analytics, and cloud-based solutions. * Familiarity with aquaculture operations and sustainability practices is an advantage. * Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office and development frameworks. * Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
