Description Wood is recruiting for a Civil Engineer to join its Iraq business unit focusing on execution of civil and structural engineering activities associated with the analysis, design, verification, and implementation of concrete and steel structures. This role is a full-time on-site role in Basra, Iraq with travel requirement. Our Clients and Projects Designing the future. Transforming the world. Wood has been awarded an Onshore Project to support an International Client operation by providing Brownfield Engineering & Design Services. The Vision of this Contract is to enhance the production & assets integrity across various locations. Team of Engineers and Designers based in Basra and Dubai supports execution of these projects. Projects under this contract focuses on Flare system revamps/re-ignition, Rehab of aging assets, BTEX emission control, Flare Gas Recovery & Replacement/upgrade of obsolete equipment, piping & systems.
