Role Description The Construction Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Erbil, responsible for overseeing all phases of construction projects from planning through completion. Day-to-day tasks include supervising site teams, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring that work is executed according to design, quality standards, and safety regulations. The role involves monitoring project schedules, controlling budgets, and managing resources to meet timelines and cost targets. The Construction Manager will conduct regular site inspections, resolve technical and operational issues, and maintain clear communication with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders. This position also requires preparing progress reports, tracking project performance, and implementing corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track. Qualifications Strong supervisory skills to lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors, and manage daily construction activities. Solid experience in budgeting and cost control, including tracking expenses, managing project finances, and supporting financial reporting. Knowledge of construction safety practices, regulations, and standards, with the ability to enforce safe work procedures on site. Hands-on experience in construction management and project control, including scheduling, resource allocation, and progress monitoring. Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in project management and construction software (e.g., MS Project, Excel, AutoCAD or similar tools). Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with attention to detail and quality. Effective communication skills in English; Kurdish and Arabic language skills are an advantage. Ability to work on-site in Erbil, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
