Job Title: Ready Mix Dispatcher Job Description **Position Summary:** The Ready Mix Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating and scheduling the delivery of ready-mix concrete to construction sites. The dispatcher ensures timely deliveries, efficient truck utilization, and effective communication between customers, batching plant operators, drivers, and site personnel. Key Responsibilities * Schedule and dispatch ready-mix concrete deliveries according to customer orders and project requirements. * Coordinate with batching plant operators to ensure concrete is produced on time. * Assign delivery trucks and drivers based on production schedules and delivery priorities. * Monitor truck movements and delivery status to ensure timely service. * Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, delays, and order changes. * Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to ensure smooth concrete placement operations. * Maintain daily dispatch records, delivery tickets, and production reports. * Resolve delivery issues, scheduling conflicts, and customer inquiries promptly. * Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and transportation requirements. * Assist in optimizing delivery routes and truck utilization to improve operational efficiency. Qualifications * Minimum 1-2 **years** of experience in ready-mix concrete dispatching, logistics, or transportation. * Knowledge of ready-mix concrete operations and delivery scheduling. * Proficiency in dispatch software, Microsoft Office, and GPS/fleet tracking systems. * Excellent communication and organizational skills. * Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deliveries simultaneously.
