**Draughtsman** **Location:** Abu Dhabi, UAE **Employment Type:** Full-Time **Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Draughtsman** to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, shop drawings, as-built drawings, and construction plans based on project specifications and engineering requirements. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of construction drawings, drafting software, and industry standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare detailed technical drawings, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for construction projects. * Develop and revise drawings based on engineers', architects', and project managers' requirements. * Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and convert them into detailed drafting documents. * Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, regulations, and company standards. * Coordinate with project teams to resolve drawing discrepancies and technical issues. * Maintain drawing records and document control procedures. * Review and update drawings throughout project execution. * Conduct site visits when required to verify measurements and gather project information. * Assist in preparing material take-offs and project documentation. * Ensure timely submission of drawings to meet project schedules. **Requirements** **Education** * Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting, or a related field. **Experience** * **Minimum 3 years of experience as a Draughtsman in the construction industry.** * Experience in building construction, infrastructure, industrial, or commercial projects is preferred. **Technical Skills** * Proficiency in **AutoCAD** (mandatory). * Knowledge of **Revit, BIM, Civil 3D, or other drafting software** is an advantage. * Strong understanding of construction methodologies, engineering drawings, and technical standards. * Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. * Good knowledge of UAE construction regulations and practices is preferred. **Competencies** * Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. * Effective communication and teamwork skills. * Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
