The position is responsible for troubleshooting electrical and automation faults, maintaining PLC-controlled equipment, supporting preventive maintenance activities, and minimizing machine downtime while ensuring production quality and workplace safety. Key Responsibilities A. Electrical and Electronic Maintenance Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and electronic systems of cigarette manufacturing and packing machines. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults, control circuits, sensors, motors, drives, and other industrial electrical components. Identify the root causes of recurring electrical and electronic failures and implement corrective actions. Inspect electrical panels, wiring, connections, and control components to ensure reliable and safe operation. Respond promptly to machine breakdowns and support the production team in restoring equipment to operation. B. PLC and Industrial Automation Troubleshoot, monitor, and maintain PLC-controlled machinery and industrial automation systems. Demonstrate practical knowledge of Beckhoff automation systems , including relevant controllers, I/O modules, and control components. Work with PLC programming and troubleshooting tools, including Beckhoff TwinCAT where applicable. Diagnose automation faults involving sensors, actuators, communication networks, and machine control sequences. Support PLC program modifications and control-system improvements when authorized. Maintain appropriate backups and documentation of PLC programs and control-system configurations. Coordinate with production and mechanical maintenance personnel to identify and resolve machine control problems. C. Cigarette Manufacturing Machinery Maintain and troubleshoot electrical and automation systems on cigarette-making and packing machines. Support the operation of production equipment, including machine control systems, motors, drives, sensors, and safety interlocks. Work with production operators and mechanics to identify technical problems affecting machine performance, product quality, and output. Help reduce unplanned downtime, production interruptions, and recurring equipment failures.
