EPC Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities * Manage complete **Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC)** activities from project initiation through final handover. * Review contracts, project scope, BOQ, drawings, specifications and client requirements. * Prepare project execution plans, work schedules, material requirements and resource plans. * Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineering disciplines, procurement teams, vendors, subcontractors and site personnel. * Maintain regular client interaction and provide updates on project progress, approvals and critical issues. * Attend client, consultant, progress, technical, commercial and site coordination meetings. * Conduct regular coordination meetings with site engineers, supervisors and subcontractors. * Monitor engineering deliverables, shop drawings, technical submittals, material approvals and document status. * Coordinate procurement activities, vendor evaluations, material inspections, expediting and delivery schedules. * Monitor construction progress against the baseline schedule, milestones and approved budget. * Plan and coordinate manpower, materials, equipment and subcontractor requirements. * Prepare daily, weekly and monthly progress reports, meeting minutes and action trackers. * Review method statements, RFIs, ITPs, WIRs, MIRs and technical documentation. * Resolve engineering, procurement, construction and interface-related issues. * Identify delays, project risks and constraints and implement corrective or recovery plans. * Monitor subcontractor performance, productivity and compliance with project requirements. * Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, approved drawings, QA/QC procedures and HSE standards. * Coordinate project variations, change orders, additional works, claims and cost-control activities. * Support invoice certification, quantity verification and progress measurement. * Coordinate inspections, pre-commissioning, testing, commissioning and performance trials. * Manage punch-list closure, as-built drawings, O&M manuals and final project handover. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or a related engineering discipline. * Minimum 4–6 years of experience in EPC project execution. * Experience in oil and gas, industrial, power, infrastructure, MEP or construction projects. * Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, Primavera P6 or MS Project. * Familiarity with project contracts, procurement procedures, QA/QC documentation and HSE requirements. * Strong client management, communication, coordination, reporting, leadership and problem-solving skills.
