We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented **Facilities Engineer** to join our Property Management team in Abu Dhabi. This role is responsible for overseeing the technical performance of managed properties, ensuring facilities are maintained to the highest standards, and supporting the delivery of exceptional service to landlords and tenants. The successful candidate will work closely with service providers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure all maintenance activities, statutory compliance, and contractual obligations are delivered efficiently and in line with agreed service levels

**Key Responsibilities**
* Conduct technical inspections across the Abu Dhabi property portfolio to ensure assets are maintained to the required standards.
* Monitor and inspect the quality of planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance works carried out by service providers.
* Coordinate with contractors and vendors regarding landlord-approved maintenance and improvement works.
* Prepare scopes of work and review technical proposals and quotations submitted by vendors.
* Carry out vacant unit inspections, including move-in and move-out inspections, and prepare detailed inspection reports.
* Review PPM schedules and maintenance reports to ensure works are completed in accordance with contractual requirements and agreed schedules.
* Monitor statutory compliance across managed properties and ensure all required certifications and inspections remain up to date.
* Review monthly service reports and invoices submitted by facilities management service providers.
* Conduct routine daily, weekly, and monthly inspections of both hard and soft facilities management services, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions where required.
* Ensure service providers meet agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and contractual obligations.
* Liaise with landlords and respond to technical requests in accordance with management agreements.
* Escalate maintenance or operational issues promptly and recommend appropriate solutions.
* Prepare technical reports, recommendation letters, inspection reports, and other ad hoc documentation as required.
* Attend meetings with landlords, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to discuss ongoing works and property performance.
* Maintain a sound understanding of building systems, including MEP (Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing), Fire & Life Safety (FLS), and other specialist systems.
* Support the wider Property Management team with additional duties as required by the Line Manager.
**Skills, Knowledge and Experience**
* Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related discipline.
* 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, property management, or building maintenance, preferably within the UAE.
* Good understanding of planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, statutory compliance, and facilities management best practices.
* Knowledge of building systems, including MEP, Fire & Life Safety (FLS), HVAC, and other building services.
* Experience coordinating contractors and reviewing technical quotations and scopes of work.
* Strong report writing and documentation skills.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word; experience using CAFM or property management systems is advantageous.
* A valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
