General Accountant

Fast Forward Logistics Co. is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated General Accountant to join our finance team in Cairo. If you enjoy working with numbers, maintaining financial accuracy, and supporting business growth within a fast-paced logistics environment, we'd like to hear from you. **Key Responsibilities:** * \* Record and maintain daily accounting transactions. * \* Prepare customer invoices and supplier payment records. * \* Reconcile bank accounts and company ledgers. * \* Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable. * \* Monitor customer collections and outstanding balances. * \* Prepare VAT and tax-related documentation. * \* Assist in monthly financial closing activities. * \* Support payroll processing when required. * \* Maintain organized financial records and documentation. * \* Coordinate with Sales and Operations regarding billing and shipment-related financial matters. * \* Assist management with financial reports and cash flow monitoring. **Requirements:** * \* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. * \* 2–5 years of accounting experience. * \* Experience in logistics or freight forwarding is highly preferred. * \* Good knowledge of Egyptian accounting standards. * \* Strong Excel skills. * \* Experience with accounting software (ERP experience is an advantage). * \* Good command of English. * \* Strong analytical and organizational skills. * \* High attention to detail and confidentiality. **Preferred Skills:** * \* Financial reporting * \* Bank reconciliation * \* Customer collections * \* Cost analysis * \* VAT filing * \* Communication skills * \* Time management **What We Offer:** * \* Competitive salary. * \* Professional development opportunities. * \* Collaborative work environment. * \* Career growth within an expanding international logistics company. * \* Exposure to regional logistics operations across Egypt and the GCC.
