HSEO / SAFETY OFFICER (CIVIL CONSTRUCTION)

**Job Vacancy: SAFETY OFFICER** **Location: UAE** **Industry: Civil Construction** We are looking for a dedicated and experienced **SAFETY OFFICER** to join our Civil Construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing health and safety standards on construction sites, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations, and promoting a safe working environment for all employees. **Key Responsibilities** * Ensure compliance with UAE Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and company policies. * Conduct daily site inspections and identify potential hazards. * Perform risk assessments and implement preventive and corrective actions. * Monitor work activities to ensure safe work practices are followed. * Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training for workers. * Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports. * Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all personnel. * Coordinate emergency response procedures and conduct evacuation drills. * Maintain HSE documentation, inspection records, permits, and safety reports. * Liaise with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and regulatory authorities on safety matters. **Qualifications & Requirements** * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field. * Minimum **5 years of UAE EXPERIENCES** as a **Safety Officer in Civil Construction**. * Valid **NEBOSH IGC and IOSH** certification is mandatory. * Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and construction safety standards. * Experience in conducting risk assessments, incident investigations, and safety audits. * Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. * Ability to work under pressure and ensure strict compliance with safety standards. **What We Offer** * Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. * Company accommodation and transportation (as applicable). * Career growth and professional development opportunities. * A safe, professional, and supportive work environment. **Apply now** by sending your updated CV along with your certifications to **052-3653978.** Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
