Senior Inspection Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Inspection Engineer to join our EIAC-approved ISO/IEC 17020 Type A inspection body. The successful candidate will perform independent third-party inspections, provide technical guidance to the inspection team, ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17020 accreditation requirements, support EIAC accreditation activities, and contribute to the continual improvement of technical systems. Key Responsibilities \* Conduct independent third-party inspections of: \* Scaffolding (mobile, fixed, and related systems) \* Lifting equipment (including elevators, escalators, cradles, forklifts, and other applicable equipment) \* Lifting accessories \* Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) \* Pressure vessels and air receivers \* Non-Destructive Testing ( IRT, UT, VT, \* Review scaffold drawings, engineering documentation, and structural calculations, where applicable. \* Ensure compliance with applicable UAE regulations, international standards, manufacturer requirements, and company procedures. \* Participate in EIAC accreditation assessments, witness assessments, and technical audits. \* Provide technical guidance and support to inspection engineers. \* Conduct site visits across the UAE to perform inspections, provide technical support, and resolve complex technical issues. Requirements \* Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. \* Minimum 6 years of relevant inspection experience, including at least 3 years with an ISO/IEC 17020 accredited inspection body \* Strong knowledge of accreditation requirements and applicable international standards, including BS EN, ASME, ISO, OSHA, and other relevant industry codes and standards. \* Strong technical knowledge of inspections related to scaffolding, lifting equipment, lifting accessories, PPE, pressure vessels, air receivers, and applicable NDT methods. \* Mandatory experience participating in or supporting EIAC accreditation assessments, witness assessments, and technical audits. Required Certifications \* NDT Level II Certification (applicable methods such as UT, MT, VT,IRT or equivalent). Required \* API 510 – Pressure Vessel Inspector Certification.
