Position: Inland logistics Assistant (Iraq) Location: Erbil Job Summary: Coordinate and monitor shipments across international ports, follow up on daily confirmed shipments with freight forwarders and internal teams, and ensure efficient customs clearance and timely delivery. Manage shipment documentation, resolve operational challenges, and oversee inland transportation to ensure smooth and efficient daily logistics operations. Job Description: Coordinate inlandtransportation operations betweenports, customs border points, and warehouses. Follow up with drivers,transport companies, and customs clearanceagents to ensure smooth shipment movement. Monitor shipmentstatus and updateinternal teams on delivery progress and any delays. Prepare, review, and manage shipmentand customs documentation. Coordinatewith port authorities and customs officesto facilitate timelyclearance. Resolve operational issuesrelated to transportation, documentation, or customs procedures. Reconcile financial statements and invoices with vendors to ensure accuracyand proper billing. Identify and implement new operational methodsto improve efficiency and workflow. Ensure compliance with company policies and local customs regulations. Maintain accurate recordsof shipments, deliveries, and transportation activities. Qualifications: Relevant work experience in transportation, logistics, and customs operations. Bachelor’s degree(minimum requirement). Proficiency in Kurdish, Arabic,and English. Ability to multitask and work flexiblyin a dynamic environment.
