Interior Draftsman

We are seeking an experienced Interior Draftsman to join our Abu Dhabi team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing precise technical drawings, shop drawings, and detailed construction documentation for luxury interior fit-out projects. This role requires extensive knowledge of UAE construction standards, interior detailing, joinery, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure drawings are fully coordinated and ready for execution. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prepare accurate and coordinated interior fit-out shop drawings, IFC drawings, and as-built drawings. * Produce detailed plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans (RCP), flooring layouts, wall elevations, joinery details, loose and fixed furniture details, and material detailing. * Develop detailed joinery and millwork drawings for custom-made furniture and interior elements. * Coordinate architectural drawings with MEP, structural, and site teams to eliminate clashes prior to execution. * Incorporate consultant comments, site instructions, RFIs, and design revisions into construction drawings. * Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, UAE building regulations, Abu Dhabi Municipality requirements, and applicable industry standards. * Prepare coordinated drawing packages for consultant approval and construction. * Review design intent and identify technical issues before issuing drawings. * Support quantity take-offs and material coordination when required. * Maintain drawing registers and ensure proper document control throughout the project lifecycle. * Collaborate closely with Interior Designers, Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Procurement teams to ensure smooth project delivery. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Architectural Drafting, or a related discipline. * Minimum 5–8 years of experience as an Interior Draftsman. * Minimum 3 years of UAE experience is mandatory, preferably in Abu Dhabi. * Proven experience delivering luxury residential, commercial, hospitality, or corporate interior fit-out projects. * Strong understanding of construction methodologies, interior finishing materials, and joinery detailing. * Excellent knowledge of UAE authority standards and construction documentation.
