Joinery Project Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Joinery Project Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in joinery, fit-out, or woodworking projects. The successful candidate will assist in managing project execution from design coordination through production, installation, and project handover. The role requires coordination with clients, consultants, factory production teams, and site personnel to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. Key Responsibilities * Review project drawings, specifications, and contract documents. * Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, and site teams regarding project requirements and technical issues. * Prepare material take-offs, quantity estimations, and procurement requests. * Monitor project schedules and ensure timely execution of joinery works. * Coordinate with factory production teams to ensure manufacturing aligns with project requirements. * Conduct site inspections and monitor installation progress. * Prepare and submit shop drawings, material submittals, and technical documents for approval. * Track project progress and prepare regular status reports. * Assist in resolving technical and site-related issues. * Ensure compliance with approved drawings, quality standards, and safety requirements. * Coordinate deliveries, installation activities, and project handovers. * Attend project meetings and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders. * Verify completed works and support preparation of invoices and progress claims. Required Skills * Good knowledge of joinery manufacturing processes and installation techniques. * Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and shop drawings. * Understanding of woodworking materials, hardware, finishes, and accessories. * Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications. * Strong project coordination and organizational skills. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines. * Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. * Knowledge of quality control procedures in joinery and fit-out projects. * Ability to work effectively with factory and site teams. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field. * 1–2 years of experience in joinery, woodworking, fit-out, or interior contracting projects. * Familiarity with UAE construction and fit-out practices is preferred. * Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
