Jr Estimation Engineer

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented **Junior Quantity Surveyor (QS)** with experience in **civil and structural steel engineering estimation** to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the estimation and commercial functions by preparing accurate quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender documentation while working closely with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams. * Prepare quantity take-offs from civil and structural steel drawings and specifications. * Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates, BOQs (Bills of Quantities), and tender submissions. * Review drawings, specifications, and contract documents for estimation purposes. * Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. * Support project cost planning, budgeting, and cost control activities. * Monitor material quantities and assist in preparing variation orders and claims. * Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure accurate pricing. * Assist in preparing project progress reports and commercial documentation. * Ensure compliance with company procedures and project requirements. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering * 1–3 years of experience in quantity surveying and estimation for civil and structural steel projects. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and AutoCAD; experience with estimation or quantity surveying software is preferred.
