MEP Engineer

We are seeking qualified and government-licensed MEP Engineer to oversee the design, coordination, approvals, execution, and commissioning of MEP works for our projects across UAE. The ideal candidate must possess active registrations with Dubai Municipality (DM) and DEWA and have hands-on experience managing MEP installations in compliance with UAE regulations, safety standards, and project specifications. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare, review, and approve MEP designs, drawings, and technical submissions. * Coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting works with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and consultants. * Obtain approvals and No Objection Certificates (NOCs) from Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence, and other relevant authorities. * Ensure all MEP works comply with Dubai Municipality regulations, DEWA standards, UAE Fire & Life Safety Code, and Dubai Green Building Regulations. * Conduct site inspections and supervise MEP installation works to ensure quality and compliance. * Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical documents. * Coordinate testing, commissioning, and final authority inspections. * Attend consultant, contractor, and client coordination meetings. * Identify technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions. * Monitor project schedules and ensure timely completion of MEP activities. * Coordinate with procurement for material selection and supplier approvals. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements. * Prepare as-built drawings and handover documentation. **Mandatory Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (UAE MOE attested or equivalent). * Active UAE Society of Engineers (SoE) Membership. * Registered with Dubai Municipality through the Dubai Engineering Qualification (DEQ) system. * Active DEWA Approved Engineer registration (preferred for Electrical Engineers). * Dubai Civil Defence approval (preferred for Mechanical/Fire Fighting Engineers). * Minimum 3–5 years of MEP engineering experience within Dubai/UAE. * Experience handling villa, retail, commercial, or fit-out projects. * Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality, DEWA, Dubai Civil Defence, and Trakhees regulations (where applicable).
