Project Manager- Swimming pools, Water Feature and Landscape

The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, monitoring, and successfully delivering landscaping, swimming pool, irrigation, water feature, hardscape, softscape, and civil works projects from project award through final handover. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage multiple projects while ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule objectives are achieved. Key Responsibilities1. Project Planning & Execution * Manage the complete lifecycle of landscaping, swimming pool, irrigation, water feature, hardscape, softscape, and civil works projects. * Develop detailed project execution plans, work schedules, resource plans, and construction methodologies. * Review project scope, drawings, specifications, BOQs, contracts, and technical documents before commencement. * Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved quality standards. * Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where necessary. 2. Site & Construction Management * Lead Project Engineers, Site Engineers, Site Supervisors, Foremen, subcontractors, and project teams. * Coordinate daily site activities to ensure efficient project execution. * Monitor manpower productivity, equipment utilization, and material availability. * Resolve technical, operational, and construction-related challenges promptly. * Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings. 3. Client & Stakeholder Management * Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities. * Attend progress meetings, technical coordination meetings, and client review meetings. * Build and maintain strong professional relationships with all project stakeholders. * Ensure client requirements and contractual obligations are fully achieved. 4. Commercial & Cost Control * Monitor project budgets, costs, cash flow, and financial performance. * Review project variations, claims, change orders, and additional work requests. * Coordinate with Quantity Surveyors and Procurement teams to optimize project costs. * Monitor material wastage and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality. * Support monthly project forecasting and financial reporting. 5. Procurement & Resource Management * Coordinate procurement schedules for materials, equipment, and subcontractors. * Ensure timely delivery of project resources to avoid delays. * Monitor supplier and subcontractor performance. * Approve material requests and verify project resource requirements. 6. Technical Coordination * Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and technical submissions. * Coordinate with design, engineering, QA/QC, and procurement teams to resolve technical issues. * Ensure construction activities comply with project specifications and approved shop drawings. * Identify engineering improvements that enhance efficiency and project quality. 7. Quality Assurance & HSE * Ensure compliance with company QA/QC procedures and project quality standards. * Enforce HSE policies and ensure compliance with UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations. * Conduct regular safety inspections and participate in HSE audits. * Ensure timely rectification of NCRs and quality observations. 8. Project Monitoring & Reporting * Prepare weekly and monthly project progress reports. * Monitor project KPIs, productivity, risks, and milestones. * Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies. * Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and correspondence. * Coordinate project testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover documentation. 9. Team Leadership * Mentor and supervise engineering and site teams. * Allocate responsibilities and monitor individual performance. * Foster teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement. * Support staff development and technical guidance. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. * Minimum **8–12 years of UAE experience** managing landscaping, swimming pool, irrigation, water feature, hardscape, softscape, or civil construction projects. * Proven experience delivering commercial, residential, hospitality, infrastructure, and government projects. * Strong understanding of UAE construction practices, project execution, contract administration, and project controls. Technical Skills * Strong knowledge of landscaping construction, swimming pool construction, irrigation systems, water features, hardscape, and softscape works. * Good understanding of project scheduling, planning, budgeting, and cost control. * Experience reviewing contracts, BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications. * Knowledge of QA/QC procedures and HSE regulations. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. * Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Primavera P
