RELYANT Global, LLC is currently seeking a Property & Logistics Specialist to join the team in Iraq. The Property & Logistics Specialist will serve the VMSS task order in support of the U.S. Department of State (DOS) through effective management, accountability, and movement of organizational property, equipment, materials, and supplies throughout their lifecycle. The position maintains accurate property records and ensures logistics activities comply with company procedures, contractual requirements, and applicable government regulations. Responsibilities Maintain accountability and accurate records for company-owned, government-furnished, and contractor-acquired property. Receive, inspect, tag, record, store, issue, transfer, and dispose of equipment and materials. Conduct routine physical inventories, cyclic counts, and property reconciliations; investigate and resolve discrepancies. Maintain property records, hand receipts, transfer documentation, shipping/receiving records, and supporting audit documentation. Coordinate domestic and international shipping, receiving, transportation, freight, and material movement as required. Track equipment and materials from acquisition through final disposition. Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Finance, Contracts, Maintenance, and project/site personnel to support material and equipment requirements. Monitor inventory levels and assist with forecasting, replenishment, and identification of excess or obsolete property. Ensure proper storage, preservation, labeling, and safeguarding of property and materials. Support mobilization and demobilization activities, including equipment deployment, transfers, returns, and closeout. Assist with property loss, damage, destruction, or theft investigations and associated documentation. Prepare inventory reports, property status reports, shipping documentation, and logistics metrics for management and customers. Support internal and external property audits and respond to corrective-action requirements. Ensure compliance with applicable FAR/DFARS requirements, contract property clauses, company policies, and customer procedures when supporting government contracts. Maintain organized property files and documentation sufficient to demonstrate accountability and audit readiness. Identify opportunities to improve inventory control, material flow, asset utilization, and logistics processes. Skills And Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; relevant degree preferred. 3–5 years of property, logistics, inventory, or warehouse experience. Government contracting experience preferred. Knowledge of government property requirements preferred. Experience with inventory, receiving, shipping, and property accountability. Experience conducting inventories and reconciling discrepancies. Experience with property or inventory management systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
