QA/QC Engineer - WMS Certified

The ideal candidate must have a strong background in structural steel construction, with proven experience in quality assurance and quality control for structural steel projects. You should have hands-on experience in inspections, material verification, welding and coating quality control, documentation, and ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards throughout the execution of structural steel works. **Key Responsibilities:.** * Supervise and monitor all construction activities on-site to ensure work is carried out according to project specifications, drawings, and approved method statements. * Coordinate with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and client representatives, if necessary. * Review construction drawings. * Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, project specifications. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements at all times. * Manage material requests, verify deliveries, and monitor material usage on-site. * Coordinate inspections with consultants and relevant authorities. **Requirements:** * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering. * Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in building or infrastructure projects. * Previous experience working in the UAE or GCC construction industry is preferred. * Knowledge of UAE construction standards and authority requirements. **Technical Skills:** * Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures in construction. * Knowledge of: * Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) * Method Statements * Material Submittals * RFIs, IRs, and MIRs * NCR and CAR procedures * Quality Management Systems (QMS) * Familiarity with UAE authority standards (e.g., Dubai Municipality, Abu Dhabi DMT, or relevant local authorities). * Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications. * Experience with concrete, structural steel, architectural finishes, MEP interfaces, and fit-out quality inspections. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office. **Nationality: Any Nationality** (Candidates must be **fluent in English**.)
