QA/QC - Landscaping

**Perfect Technical Works & Landscaping LLC (PTWL)** is a leading UAE-based contractor specializing in landscape construction, swimming pools, irrigation systems, water features, hardscape, softscape, civil works, and landscape maintenance. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced **QA/QC Engineer** to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained across all project phases and that all works comply with client specifications, approved drawings, and applicable industry standards. Job Summary The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring the Quality Management System (QMS) across multiple projects. The role involves conducting inspections, ensuring compliance with project specifications, coordinating testing and inspections, maintaining QA/QC documentation, and working closely with project teams to deliver defect-free projects that meet client and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities1. Quality Assurance & Site Inspections * Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, construction activities, and material quality. * Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and project quality standards. * Inspect landscaping, irrigation, swimming pool, water feature, hardscape, softscape, and civil works at all stages of construction. * Identify quality deficiencies, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). * Verify approved materials, mock-ups, installation methods, testing, and commissioning activities before acceptance. * Monitor subcontractor compliance with project quality requirements. 2. QA/QC Documentation * Prepare and maintain inspection requests (IRs), inspection reports, material inspection reports (MIRs), checklists, NCRs, site observation reports (SORs), and corrective action reports. * Maintain complete QA/QC documentation throughout the project lifecycle. * Monitor testing records, commissioning reports, as-built documentation, warranties, and project close-out documentation. * Ensure all quality records are properly maintained and readily available for audits and client reviews. 3. Site Coordination * Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, Consultants, Procurement, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding quality-related matters. * Attend project coordination meetings, quality inspections, and technical review meetings. * Verify that approved materials, suppliers, and subcontractors comply with project specifications. * Support technical teams in resolving construction and quality-related issues efficiently. 4. Testing & Commissioning * Coordinate field testing, inspections, and commissioning activities with approved testing agencies. * Witness tests and verify compliance with project specifications and applicable standards. * Ensure all inspection and testing activities are completed before work handover. * Review testing reports and verify corrective actions for any failed inspections. 5. Audits & Continuous Improvement * Conduct internal quality audits and site assessments. * Monitor implementation of the company's Quality Management System (QMS). * Recommend process improvements to enhance quality performance and operational efficiency. * Promote quality awareness across project teams and conduct QA/QC training where required. * Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO quality management requirements. 6. Client & Consultant Coordination * Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, testing agencies, and relevant authorities. * Ensure consultant comments, NCRs, and quality observations are addressed and closed within agreed timelines. * Support consultant inspections, approvals, project snagging, de-snagging, and final handover. * Maintain professional communication with all project stakeholders regarding quality matters. 7. Compliance & Reporting * Ensure compliance with company QA/QC procedures, client specifications, contractual requirements, and UAE construction regulations. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QA/QC reports for management. * Track quality KPIs, NCR trends, inspection status, and corrective action progress. * Support management during quality audits, client audits, and certification assessments. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Landscape Architecture, or a related discipline. * Minimum **5–10 years of UAE experience** in QA/QC within landscaping, construction, infrastructure, swimming pool, irrigation, or civil engineering projects. * Strong understanding of landscaping construction, irrigation systems, swimming pools, water features, hardscape, softscape, and civil works. * Experience implementing Quality Management Systems (QMS) and project QA/QC procedures.
