Company Description Yas is an online learning platform that helps middle and high school students study the Iraqi curriculum at their own pace, test their knowledge, and prepare with experienced lecturers anytime and anywhere. Through comprehensive video lessons across every subject, Yas supports learners in building a solid understanding of the material they will be examined on. The platform also offers assignments, timed exams, and flashcards to reinforce learning and track progress. By combining flexible access with structured academic support, Yas aims to improve student outcomes and make quality education more accessible. Role Description The Sales Representative role at Yas Platform is a full-time, on-site position based in Basra. The Sales Representative will focus on promoting Yas’s online learning solutions to students, parents, and schools, clearly explaining platform features and benefits. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and contacting potential customers, conducting in-person and phone-based sales meetings, managing leads, and following up to close enrollment opportunities. The role involves providing accurate product information, addressing questions and concerns, and collecting feedback to help improve sales approaches. The Sales Representative will collaborate closely with the marketing and customer support teams to ensure a consistent experience for learners and partners. Qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain educational products clearly to students, parents, and school staff. 1-2 years experience is a requirement Proven sales or customer-facing experience, ideally in education, technology, or services. Ability to build and maintain relationships, manage a pipeline of leads, and meet or exceed sales targets. Comfort working on-site in Basra, visiting local schools or community locations as needed. Basic understanding of online learning platforms and the Iraqi school curriculum is preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple prospects and follow-ups. Proficiency in common office and communication tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, presentations). A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field is an advantage. Ability to work in a gender-neutral, inclusive environment and interact respectfully with diverse groups
