Scaffolding Supervisor

**Position : Scaffolding Supervisor** **Company Name : VJ Tanks FZC, Hamriyah Free Zone Sharjah.** **Job Responsibilities:** * Supervise the erection, modification, inspection support, and dismantling of scaffolding structures in accordance with approved procedures and safety standards. * Plan and allocate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for scaffolding activities. * Coordinate with site engineers, construction supervisors, HSE personnel, scaffold inspectors, and client representatives to ensure smooth execution of work. * Ensure all scaffolding work complies with project specifications, client requirements, and applicable regulations. * Verify that only trained and competent scaffolders perform scaffolding activities. * Conduct daily toolbox talks and ensure all personnel comply with PPE and site safety requirements. * Monitor work progress and ensure activities are completed within the project schedule. * Ensure scaffolding materials are inspected before use and that defective materials are removed from service. * Coordinate scaffold inspections and ensure scaffolds are tagged and released only after approval by the Scaffolding Inspector. * Maintain daily work records, manpower reports, material requirements, and progress reports. * Report safety concerns, incidents, near misses, and delays to the Site Manager and HSE team. * Promote good housekeeping and maintain a safe work environment at all times. **Qualification, Skills & Experience:** * Diploma, ITI, or equivalent technical qualification. * Minimum 4–5 years of scaffolding experience, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role. * Strong knowledge of scaffolding systems, HSE requirements, and Permit to Work (PTW) procedures. * Experience on ADNOC or similar oil & gas/industrial projects is preferred. * Good leadership, communication, planning, and team management skills.
