Senior Account Executive

Senior Accountant **Location:** Dubai, United Arab Emirates **Employment Type:** Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a highly organized and experienced Senior Accountant to manage the company's full accounting operations. The successful candidate should have strong knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, financial reporting, inventory accounting, and trading business operations. Key Responsibilities * Manage the complete accounting cycle, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. * Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations. * Maintain accurate inventory accounting and cost of goods sold. * Process payroll and employee-related accounting entries. * Prepare management reports, budgets, and financial forecasts. * Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external consultants. * Monitor customer receivables, supplier payments, and credit control. * Ensure compliance with company policies and UAE financial regulations. * Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and internal controls. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA qualification is an advantage. * Minimum **5–8 years** of accounting experience, including **at least 3 years in the UAE**. * Previous experience in a trading, import/export, wholesale, or distribution company is highly preferred. * Strong knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and financial reporting. * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. * Experience with ERP or accounting software such as SAP Business One, Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, or similar. * Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
