Senior Accountant

**WE ARE HIRING – SENIOR ACCOUNTANT (MANUFACTURING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED)** We are looking for an experienced **Senior Accountant** with a strong background in **manufacturing accounting and costing** to join our team in the UAE. **Key Responsibilities:** * Manage complete accounting operations, including GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and month-end/year-end closing. * Handle **manufacturing costing**, including raw materials, labor, overhead allocation, and finished goods costing. * Maintain and review **Bill of Materials (BOM)** and ensure accurate product costing. * Monitor **Raw Materials, WIP, Finished Goods, Scrap, and Production Consumption** and reconcile them with accounting records. * Analyze **actual production cost vs. standard cost** and investigate material, production, and overhead variances. * Monitor inventory movements, stock valuation, ageing, slow-moving items, and periodic physical stock counts. * Calculate landed costs for imported raw materials and ensure proper allocation to inventory and production. * Prepare monthly **P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Costing Reports, and Management Reports**. * Prepare product-wise and department-wise **cost and profitability analysis** for management. * Manage customer receivables, supplier payables, ageing reports, and payment schedules. * Ensure compliance with **UAE VAT and Corporate Tax** requirements. * Coordinate with auditors, banks, tax consultants, suppliers, and other external parties. * Strengthen internal controls related to purchasing, inventory, production, sales, and accounting. * Supervise junior accounting staff and ensure accuracy and timely completion of accounting activities. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field. * CA Inter / ACCA / CMA or equivalent professional qualification preferred. * Minimum **5–7 years of accounting experience, with solid experience in a manufacturing environment**. * Strong practical knowledge of **manufacturing accounting, cost accounting, BOM, inventory control, WIP, and production costing**. * Experience with **ERP-based manufacturing and inventory systems** is strongly preferred. * Good understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and financial reporting requirements. * Advanced **Microsoft Excel** skills, including reporting and data analysis. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. * Must be capable of independently handling accounts through **finalization and audit**. **Position:** Senior Accountant **Location:** UAE **Employment Type:** Full-Time Candidates with **direct manufacturing accounting and costing experience** will be given preference.
