Smart City Platform Engineer

Key Responsibilities * Design, implement, and support Smart City platforms and integrated technology solutions. * Perform system integration between various applications, IoT devices, and third-party systems. * Manage periodic platform upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities while ensuring minimal downtime. * Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL and NoSQL databases for performance and scalability. * Build and maintain web-based dashboards and applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. * Monitor system health, troubleshoot technical issues, and provide timely resolutions. * Ensure platform security by following networking and information security best practices. * Support AI-enabled features, predictive analytics, and data-driven decision-making initiatives. * Collaborate with software developers, infrastructure teams, and project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. * Prepare technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures. * Provide technical support and training to end users when required. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related field. * Proven experience working on Smart City projects or similar integrated technology platforms. * Practical experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra). * Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. * Solid understanding of networking concepts, system administration, and information security principles. * Experience supporting system integration, platform maintenance, and software updates. * Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning concepts, and data analytics. * Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills * Experience with IoT platforms and sensor integration. * Familiarity with REST APIs and microservices architecture. * Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. * Experience with GIS platforms and smart infrastructure solutions. * Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, or DevOps practices. * Knowledge of Linux and Windows server administration. Experience * 3–7 years of relevant experience in Smart City platforms, integrated systems, or enterprise technology solutions. Pay: ﷼7,530.39 - ﷼19,466.35 per month Work Location: In person
