Store Supervisor – Baly Groceries

The Store Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of a Baly dark store , ensuring orders are prepared accurately and on time, inventory is properly managed, and the store operates according to Baly’s operational and quality standards. The role will manage the store team and work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Delivery teams to achieve Baly’s ultra-fast delivery promise . Key Responsibilities Manage daily dark-store operations and supervise the picker/packing team. Ensure customer orders are picked, packed, and handed over to riders within the target SLA. Monitor picking speed, accuracy, short picks, substitutions, and order issues. Manage receiving, GRN, put-away, replenishment, and stock movements within the store. Ensure high inventory accuracy and investigate stock discrepancies. Monitor out-of-stock, damaged, expired, and near-expiry products and take required actions. Ensure proper handling and storage of ambient, chilled, frozen, fresh, and ultra-fresh products. Maintain store cleanliness, organization, shelving standards, and product availability. Manage team attendance, shifts, productivity, and performance. Ensure smooth and accurate order handover to delivery riders. Conduct regular cycle counts and support full inventory counts. Escalate operational, system, equipment, inventory, or staffing issues quickly. Ensure compliance with Baly’s SOPs, food safety, quality, and operational standards. Requirements 2–4 years of experience in store operations, warehouse operations, grocery retail, FMCG, or Q-commerce. Previous team supervision experience is preferred. Good understanding of inventory, receiving, picking, packing, and stock control. Strong operational ownership and problem-solving skills. Comfortable using inventory, ERP, and order management systems. Able to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage teams effectively. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and peak periods.
