Supply Chain Specialist – Baly Grocerie

The Supply Chain Specialist will manage the day-to-day supply chain operations for Baly Groceries, ensuring the right products are available at the right stores while maintaining healthy inventory levels and efficient stock movement. The role will work closely with the Supply Chain Lead, Category team, 3PL/DC partner, suppliers, and Dark Store Operations. Key Responsibilities Manage daily replenishment and stock transfers from the central DC to dark stores. Coordinate with suppliers and the 3PL/DC to ensure timely inbound deliveries and order fulfillment. Monitor stock availability, stock-outs, overstock, and inventory coverage across stores. Prepare and follow up on purchase orders and transfer orders. Track supplier and 3PL delivery performance and escalate delays or discrepancies. Coordinate direct-to-store deliveries, particularly for fresh and ultra-fresh products. Monitor inventory movement and support resolution of stock discrepancies, damages, expiries, and missing items. Support store opening activities by ensuring initial inventory is ordered and delivered on time. Maintain supply chain trackers and provide regular operational reports. Work closely with Demand Planning and Category teams to align replenishment with demand, promotions, and seasonality. Identify operational issues and opportunities to improve availability, lead times, and inventory efficiency. Ensure supply chain processes and agreed SLAs are consistently followed. Requirements 2–4 years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Replenishment, Inventory, or FMCG operations. Experience in grocery, FMCG, retail, e-commerce, or Q-commerce is preferred. Good understanding of inventory management, replenishment, purchase orders, and warehouse/store transfers. Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills. Comfortable working with ERP and inventory management systems. Strong coordination, problem-solving, and follow-up skills. Good understanding of the Iraqi FMCG and supplier landscape is a plus. High ownership and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
