Treasury Accountant

**Job Purpose** The Treasury Accountant is responsible for managing the Company's day-to-day treasury operations, including cash flow monitoring, banking transactions, payment processing, bank reconciliations, and treasury reporting. The role ensures sufficient liquidity to support business operations while maintaining strong relationships with banking partners and ensuring compliance with Company policies and financial controls. **Key Responsibilities** * Monitor daily cash balances and prepare cash flow forecasts. * Process supplier, subcontractor, payroll, and other payments accurately and on time. * Prepare and reconcile bank accounts and investigate any discrepancies. * Coordinate with banks on fund transfers, banking facilities, account maintenance, and related documentation. * Manage bank guarantees, letters of credit (LCs), performance bonds, and other banking instruments. * Prepare treasury reports, cash position reports, and banking reconciliations for Management. * Monitor receivables and support collection activities to optimize cash flow. * Ensure compliance with internal financial controls, Company policies, and banking procedures. * Maintain accurate treasury records and supporting documentation. * Assist during month-end and year-end closing activities, as well as internal and external audits. * Support the Finance Department with other treasury and accounting functions as required. **Qualifications** * Bachelor's Degree in **Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline**. * Professional qualifications such as **ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CFA (Part Qualified)** will be an advantage. **Experience** * **Minimum 3–5 years of relevant UAE experience** as a Treasury Accountant or in a similar finance role. * Previous experience in a **Construction, Contracting, EPC, Infrastructure, or Engineering Company** is highly preferred. * Sound knowledge of UAE banking practices, treasury operations, and cash management. * Experience with ERP systems such as **SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar** will be an advantage.
