Accountant (2–3 Years Experience

**Job Title:** Accountant (CMA Certified) **Location:** Dubai, UAE **Experience Required:** 2–3 Years **Industry:** Trading / Commodities (Preferred) **Job Summary** We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented **Accountant with CMA certification** to manage financial accounting activities, reporting, analysis, and compliance functions. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, management accounting, financial analysis, and reporting, with the ability to support business decision-making through accurate financial insights. **Key Responsibilities** * Maintain accurate accounting records, including general ledger, journal entries, and financial statements. * Perform daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. * Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. * Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights to management. * Prepare management reports and performance analysis. * Ensure accurate recording of transactions and compliance with accounting standards. * Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial controls. * Support VAT compliance and preparation of tax-related reports as per UAE regulations. * Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits. * Review financial data and identify opportunities for process improvements. * Maintain proper documentation and ensure adherence to company accounting policies. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. * **CMA (Certified Management Accountant) qualification is mandatory.** * 2–3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles. * Strong knowledge of financial accounting, management accounting, and reporting. * Good understanding of UAE VAT regulations and accounting practices. * Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. * Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools. * Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. **Preferred Experience** * Experience in trading, commodities, bullion, or financial services industry is an advantage. * Knowledge of internal controls, cost analysis, and financial planning. * Experience preparing management reports for senior leadership.
