Accountant

Mayhab General Land Transport LLC is a well-established building materials transport company operating through multiple branches across the UAE. We are seeking a highly competent and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the Company's accounting and finance functions. Position Summary The accountant will be responsible for handling the Company's complete accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, compliance, and financial control functions across all three branches. The role requires strong accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and a thorough understanding of UAE financial regulations and taxation. The successful candidate will ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records, maintain effective financial controls, and provide timely financial information to management. Key Responsibilities Accounting & Finance \* Handle the complete accounting and finance operations of all three company branches. \* Maintain the Company's Chart of Accounts (COA) to ensure accurate financial reporting and consistency across all branches. \* Ensure proper accounting policies and procedures are followed in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulations. \* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. \* Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and all other statutory and regulatory requirements. \* Manage cash flow, budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and cost control activities. \* Maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, inventory accounting, and general ledger functions. \* Perform month-end and year-end closing activities and ensure timely financial reporting. \* Monitor branch-wise profitability, expenses, and operational performance. \* Coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax consultants, and government authorities. \* Prepare financial projections, budget variance analysis, and other financial reports for management. \* Ensure timely reconciliation of bank accounts, supplier accounts, customer accounts, and inter-branch transactions. \* Monitor daily cash transactions and maintain proper cash management procedures. \* Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation. \* Prepare reports required by management and regulatory authorities. \* Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures. \* Assist in improving accounting processes and maintaining proper financial documentation. Qualifications & Experience \* ACCA, CA Inter, CMA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification. \* Minimum 2–5 years of accounting and finance experience within the UAE. \* Experience in the transport, logistics, construction, or building materials sector will be an advantage. \* Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, financial reporting standards, and UAE compliance requirements. \* Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel. \* Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month Experience: * Accounting: 5 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
