Senior Accountant **Location:** Al Quoz, Dubai, UAE **Industry:** Contracting / Construction **Employment Type:** Full-Time About Euro Systems LLC Euro Systems LLC is a leading contracting company specializing in aluminum & façade solutions, architectural metal works, glazing, interior fit-out, and engineering services across the UAE and GCC. We are seeking an experienced **Senior Accountant** to join our finance team and support our growing operations. Job Summary We are looking for a highly experienced **Senior Accountant** with a strong background in the UAE contracting or construction industry. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in **Letters of Credit (LCs), Bank Guarantees, Contract Accounting, Project Costing, and Financial Reporting**. This role requires excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage project finances while ensuring compliance with UAE financial regulations. Key Responsibilities * Manage the complete accounting cycle, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Bank Reconciliations. * Handle project accounting, job costing, contract accounting, and revenue recognition. * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Manage Letters of Credit (LCs), including documentation, negotiations, amendments, and coordination with banks. * Handle Bank Guarantees, including issuance, renewals, amendments, tracking, and release. * Review customer and supplier contracts from a financial and commercial perspective. * Coordinate with project managers to monitor project budgets, project costs, and profitability. * Prepare VAT returns and ensure compliance with UAE Corporate Tax regulations. * Liaise with banks, auditors, clients, and suppliers on financial matters. * Prepare MIS reports, cash flow forecasts, financial analysis, and management reports. * Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE financial regulations, and company policies. * Support annual audits and maintain accurate financial records. Requirements * Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Professional qualification such as **ACCA, CMA, CPA, or CA** is preferred. * **5–8 years of UAE experience**, including experience in a **Contracting or Construction Company**. * Strong practical experience in: * Letters of Credit (LC) * Bank Guarantees * Contract Accounting * Project Costing * Cash Flow Management * UAE VAT & Corporate Tax * Proficiency in ERP systems such as **SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, or similar**. * Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. * Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications * Immediate joiners or candidates with a short notice period. * Experience in the **aluminum, façade, glazing, or construction industry** will be a strong advantage.
