Accountant

**Company:** Kalandoor Group **Location:** DIP 1 **Availability:** Immediate Joiners Preferred Kalandoor Group is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable **Accountant** to manage day-to-day financial operations and support the finance function across our construction and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in **UAE accounting practices**, preferably within the **fit-out industry**, and a strong understanding of project-based financial management. Key Responsibilities:Financial Accounting & Bookkeeping * Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger entries. * Record daily financial transactions such as invoices, receipts, payments, and journal entries. * Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities. * Prepare bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow. Accounts Payable & Receivable * Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments. * Prepare and issue client invoices in coordination with project and commercial teams. * Monitor receivables and follow up on outstanding payments. * Reconcile supplier and customer statements. Requirements & Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum **2–5 years of accounting experience**, preferably in **interior fit-out companies in the UAE**. * Strong knowledge of **UAE accounting standards and VAT regulations**. * Experience with project accounting and cost tracking is highly preferred. * Proficiency in **MS Office (especially Excel)**. * Experience with accounting software or ERP systems (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, SAP) is an advantage. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Good analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure. * Strong communication and organizational skills. * UAE experience is preferred.
