Accountant

**Job Title:** Accountant **Location:** Dubai, UAE **UAE Experience:** 5+ Years **Key Responsibilities** * Manage general ledger and daily accounting transactions. * Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). * Perform bank and account reconciliations. * Prepare journal entries, accruals, and month-end/year-end closing. * Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow reports. * Ensure UAE VAT compliance and prepare VAT returns. * Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules. * Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit coordination. * Ensure compliance with IFRS, company policies, and internal controls. **Requirements & Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * Minimum 5 years of accounting experience (UAE experience preferred). * Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting software (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Zoho Books, Tally, etc.). * Experience with financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing. * Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA) is an advantage. * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
