**Core Responsibilities** * **Local Tax Compliance**: Prepare and submit quarterly **VAT returns** and manage registrations with the FTA. * **Corporate Tax Support**: Assist in compiling documentation and calculations for **UAE Corporate Tax filings**. * **WPS Payroll Management**: Process employee salaries through the mandatory **Wages Protection System (WPS)**. * **Financial Reporting**: Generate monthly balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow layouts using **IFRS framework**. * **Ledger & Bank Reconciliation**: Reconcile daily banking, credit cards, vendor accounts, and customer aging statements. * **Audit Preparation**: Organize files and coordinate with external accounting bodies for statutory **annual corporate audits**. * **Vendor & Client Management**: Track accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) to maintain healthy cash flows. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5] **Required Qualifications** * **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce. * **Experience**: Minimum 2 to 4 years of hands-on accounting experience **within the UAE** market. * **Certifications**: Certifications like **ACCA, CPA, CMA**, or CA (Inter) are highly preferred by regional employers. * **Software Competency**: Proficiency in regional tools like **Tally Prime or Zoho Books**, alongside global ERPs like SAP or Oracle. * **Advanced Tooling**: Excellent command over **Microsoft Excel** (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and financial formulas).
