Senior Accountant

**Core Responsibilities** * **Tax Leadership**: Oversee **VAT filings**, handle corporate tax calculations, and manage relationships with the **Federal Tax Authority (FTA)**. * **Financial Closing**: Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes under **IFRS standards** to meet tight corporate deadlines. * **Audit Management**: Act as the primary point of contact for external auditors, ensuring seamless compliance and zero audit points. * **WPS Oversight**: Review monthly salary structures before final processing through the **Wages Protection System (WPS)**. * **Strategic Reporting**: Prepare detailed financial statements, cash flow forecasts, and variance analysis for top management. * **Team Supervision**: Mentor, train, and review the work of junior accountants and bookkeepers within the department. * **Internal Controls**: Design, implement, and monitor financial policies to minimize risk and prevent discrepancies.
