Accountant

We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Accountant to manage our financial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for handling all financial transactions, maintaining accurate ledger entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring strict compliance with local and international tax laws. Ultimately, your work will provide leadership with clear, quantitative insights into the company's financial health to drive strategic decision-making. Key Duties and Responsibilities * **Financial Reporting:** Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. * **Bookkeeping & Ledgers:** Manage daily accounting transactions, maintain the general ledger, and post journal entries. * **Reconciliation:** Reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank statements on a weekly/monthly basis to resolve discrepancies. * **Month/Year-End:** Lead and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. * **Tax & Compliance:** Compute and file corporate taxes, and ensure adherence to financial policies, local regulations, and accounting standards. * **Budgeting & Forecasting:** Assist management in developing budgets, forecasting expenses, and tracking financial performance against company objectives. * **Audit Support:** Coordinate with internal and external auditors to ensure data integrity and proper documentation. * Requirements and Qualifications * **Education:** Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. * **Certification:** Professional certifications like CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA are highly preferred. * **Experience:** [2-5] years of proven experience as an Accountant, Staff Accountant, or Bookkeeper. * **Technical Skills:** Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and hands-on experience with modern accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho * **Analytical Ability:** Strong numerical proficiency and the ability to identify, investigate, and resolve financial discrepancies. * **Communication:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
