QA/QC Engineer

**About Us:** Al Shurooq Oilfield Equipment FZC is a steel fabrication company operating in the Oil and Gas market, specifically oil-well equipment fabrication. We require a QA/QC engineer to assist in overseeing the production process and maintain relevant quality/manufacturing related documents, including creating and updating equipment design. **Key Responsibilities:** * Establish and maintain the quality dossier for manufactured equipment. * Handle an on-going maintenance journal of refurbishment works. * Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process, and finished products. * Draw 2D/3D drawings * Interpret technical drawings and specifications. * Perform dimensional checks using measurement tools. * Document inspection results and generate reports, including non-conformance reports (NCRs). **Qualifications:** * Technical certification or bachelor’s degree in an engineering-related profession. * Preferred 1 – 2 years of experience in quality control, preferably in steel fabrication or manufacturing. * Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings. * Strong understanding of quality control standards and methodologies. * Have good attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Effective English communication skills. * NDT Level II certification is required. * Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) and ISO standards is preferred. * Familiarity with 2D/3D drawing software is a plus. **How to Apply:** Please respond to this job advert with your resume and cover letter to be considered. * A valid UAE driver’s license and car will also be taken into consideration as factors in our decision.
