Accountant (Construction)

For 10 years we have been successfully implementing our architectural projects on the world stage. Due to rapid growth and the launch of new projects, we are looking for an Accountant to join our in-house construction company in Dubai. **Responsibilities:** * Manage and oversee daily accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations * Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements * Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations, VAT laws, and company policies * Handle VAT filings and liaise with the Federal Tax Authority * Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting * Review and reconcile property-related transactions (leases, service charges, escrow accounts, etc.) * Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits * Analyze financial data and provide insights to senior management * Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules * Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field * Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is preferred * Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate or property management * Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations * Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle) * Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills **What We Provide:** * Competitive salary as per the market * Official employment under UAE Labour Law * Employment visa and medical insurance * Modern office and friendly environment at work If you are seeking dynamic growth and want to be part of a team who builds the future of Abu Dhabi, send your application!
